The Trek des Gazelles By Mélanie takes you to discover the splendid Ifrane National Park located in the heart of the Middle Atlas mountains at an altitude of over 1600 meters.
Nicknamed the Little Swiss of Morocco, the town of Ifrane is a World Heritage Site due to the architecture of its Alpine-style chalets.
Its natural park is home to more than half of Morocco's terrestrial biodiversity, including the emblematic Atlas blue cedar, and has been listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2016.
The massif is also home to an endemic species of monkey, the Barbary macaque. Lakes, springs, and waterfalls flow from the region's mountains.
This trek promises an exceptional adventure reserved for a few pioneers fascinated by these surprising territories.

Route and technique
A route along the mule trails of the Middle Atlas
- A 6-day trip
- A trek of approximately 70 km
- 4 days of walking
- Various terrain: pebbles, rocks, small stumps, earth, etc.
- Altitude: + or – 1600 meters
- Elevation gain: + or - 200 meters
- Temperatures in May: daytime temperatures between 10° and 25° Celsius and nighttime temperatures between 0° and 10° Celsius
- Weather conditions: the route may be subject to thunderstorms.
- Good physical condition is essential
- Endurance required
- Commitment to regular training is necessary.
