How did life lead me to the Trek Des Gazelles?
Melanie, the Founder
The Gazelles Trek was born from a personal experience.
In 2014, I decided to commit myself to an essential cause: the fight against pediatric cancer. From this desire came the idea of bringing women together around a heartfelt event to support sick children.
Driven by the desire to share my vision of travel and returning to the essentials, I naturally turned to nomadism and the lands of Africa.
Since 2015, I have been welcoming women from all walks of life on adventure treks. Each trek is crafted with passion and exacting standards, in the heart of the most beautiful regions of Morocco.

Supporting an Essential Cause
The Trek des Gazelles by Mélanie is committed, with discretion and consistency, to the fight against pediatric cancer.
In close collaboration with medical teams in Morocco — particularly professors in oncology units — as well as with hospices and the Franco-African Pediatric Oncology Group, we contribute to concrete actions in support of sick children.
Each year, a portion of the event registration fees is dedicated to organizing equine therapy days and funding care, in order to provide support and comfort to children and their families.

We actively support the work of local populations, short supply chains and the empowerment of women.
Since 2015, we have been working to reduce our water and plastic consumption while optimizing the sustainability and life cycle of the materials we use – with the aim of minimizing our environmental impact.
Respect for all living things guides our every action. Through Trek Des Gazelles By Mélanie, we offer immersive adventures in the heart of nature, designed to leave no trace of our passage.

Preserving the balance of ecosystems is one of our organization's promises: to protect the planet and those who depend on it.
We aspire to be a model of regenerative practices and a just transition to carbon neutrality.
Therefore, we select natural materials and ingredients for all our services, drawing our inspiration from the beauty of the sustainable world to nourish our creativity.
By 2040, we aim to offset our emissions across our entire value chain, while sustainably reducing our environmental footprint.

In the Eastern imagination, the gazelle has always embodied grace, vivacity, and beauty.
Evoked in song, Sufi poetry, and the traditions of Morocco and the Middle East, it symbolizes a free, instinctive, and profoundly inspiring femininity.
To say that a woman has “gazelle eyes” remains today one of the most beautiful compliments — a celebration of her presence, her radiance, and her inner strength.
It is within this heritage that the Trek des Gazelles by Mélanie naturally takes its place: an invitation to reveal, in the heart of the great outdoors, that part of oneself which is at once free, elegant and alive.
