The Trek Des Gazelles By Mélanie invites you to Essaouira, the city of the trade winds, for a unique journey along the shores of Morocco's Atlantic Coast.
Our caravan sets off from the beach of the old Mogador, to the rhythm of the waves and the light on the ocean, the landscapes transform.
Following in the wake of the dromedaries, our route crosses vast beaches of fine sand. In the distance, on the majestic cliffs, stand argan trees, the region's endemic tree.
Lovers of the sea, the air and the earth, let yourself be enchanted by the invigorating energy of the elements... this journey is yours.
Route and technique
In Morocco, on the paths of the Atlantic coast
- A 6-day trip
- A trek of approximately 85 km
- 4 days of walking
- Various terrain: sand, earth, pebbles, rocks, small stumps, wadis, etc.
- Altitude: None. Coastal path
- Total elevation gain: + or – 500 meters in total
- Average temperatures in October: daily between 10° and 25° degrees and night between 5° and 15°
- Ocean Breeze
- Practice of a sporting activity
- Good physical condition and endurance required
- Regular training required
